He has been associated with various startups and is presently holding a position of Chief Legal Officer ( CLO ) in a Proptech company working in the field of Fractional ownership in Indian real estate industry.

He holds life membership in All India Federation of Tax Practitioners (AIFTP) and has been an executive body member of the Uttar Pradesh Kar Adhivakta Sangh. Locally, he is a member of the Kanpur Income Tax Bar Association (KITBA), having held various executive body positions.
Devendra is also an active member of The Sales Tax Bar Association (STBA), Kanpur, where he served as General Secretary during the GST implementation year (2017-18) and is currently the Vice President of the association.
